How this guide is written

This is a small independent guide to Naples, Florida, written from the ground in Collier County. It exists because most of what's published about Naples is either a real estate brochure or a list assembled by someone who has never stood on the pier at six o'clock in February.

What we do

• Rank on practical grounds — parking, shade, tide, timing — not on adjectives.
• Update guides when conditions, hours or closures change, and date every page.

Nothing on this site is a paid placement, and no operator, restaurant or attraction has been given editorial input. When we point to a specific business, it's because it's the answer to the question the page is asking — usually because it does something the alternatives don't, and we say what that is.

We also link out to the primary sources you should actually be checking before you travel: tide tables, park pages, state wildlife regulations and weather services. Those matter more than any recommendation we could make.
